Penny A. Lawson, 41, of Kingston died Tuesday in Seattle.

Born in Lima, Ohio, she graduated from Chugiak High School in Alaska. On May 6, 1983, she married Wayne Lawson in Kaui, Hawaii.

Mrs. Lawson was a devoted homemaker who loved being with her children and participating in their school activities. She also enjoyed playing and coaching softball and soccer.

She was a member of Bayside Community Church in Kingston.

Surviving are her husband; her parents, Richard and Jacqueline "Anne" (Stevenson) Fuerst of Needles, Calif.; daughters, Robin, Kelsey and Paige Lawson, all of Kingston; siblings, Steve Fuerst of Ohio, Denise Hefner and Jacqueline Fuerst, both of California, and Diane Kadel and Debbie McLean, both of Washington state.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Christ Memorial Church in Poulsbo. Arrangements are by The Stone Chapel in Poulsbo.
